How To Get Camera Ready; What To Eat + What To Avoid!
One of my favourite videos to date that I've made with Huff post is this one, where I gave my tips and tricks on getting camera ready. The essence of it all in my experience, is that what you ingest is reflected in your skin. If you want to look radiant and healthy, whole foods and lots of h20 would be my daily recommendation. Caffeine is dehydrating, so I alternate between sips of my favourite vegan bulletproof, and water to balance everything out. No booze before a shoot is a basic rule to avoid looking puffy and bloated. while charcoal drinks can help detox your system and clear you skin. A happy tummy helps balance the entire body, and fermented foods like kombucha are top of my list for that. Oh, and sleep! I'm obsessed with the sleep app on my phone to help get enough rest; it's remarkable what a solid night of zzzzz's can do for your overall appearance and well-being. In a perfect world we'd be able to pull off all of the above, all of the time, but if you do have something special coming up, try to focus on a couple of the more manageable ones to help put your best face forward.
