That Mindful Life...

I am grateful on the daily for my training in yoga and meditation; let's just say I am accessing those deep breathing techniques ALOT, especially when it comes to life with my 5YO.  But does being a Wellness Practitioner mean I am in a constant state of calm?  Um, nope, that's a hard no, but it does mean that I am fortunate to have the tools to manage as best I can.  In my experience, Mindfulness takes practice, but I certainly notice results.  My morning mediation practice is now a habitual part of my daily routine, even to the point that my son joins me willingly after we enjoy our morning cuddles.  For more thoughts and ways to practice mindfulness, check out my article Living Mindfully With A Busy Schedule on the Botanica blog.
